Welcome to Morgan Flook Photography's Blog

This has been a long time coming but we finally did it!

Back when I studied abroad in Kenya I had a blog to keep everyone up to date on my happenings across the world and I loved writing about my adventures. It was very therapeutic as is journaling for me so I am excited to be back to a place where I can write and share part of my life with you.

For those who do not know me my name is Morgan and I wear a lot of hats. I am first a wife to my handsome hubby Stephen and mama to my sweet 2 year old. I am a photographer, a tutor, a keyboard player at church, a small group leader for my youth girls and a campground host.

Looking at that list of things I love that each one brings out a part of me that I love.

Being a wife and mama is the hardest thing but the most rewarding and I love having my boys close to me as we build this family that we love.

Being a photographer fills that creative side of me that longs to create beautiful images to show others the beauty I see in them.

Tutoring kids fulfills that longing I have had since I was a kid to teach. I love helping young students discover things and have those a-ha moments. (I don't have a pic of me tutoring so enjoy this recent pic of my fam :)

Playing the keyboard fills my musical soul! I have always loved music and getting to lead others in worship is just amazing. (This is a photo of us dedicating our son in January - I am standing close to my keyboard just not playing it!)

Being a small group leader is the best! I get to have an impact on the younger generation and teach them things I wish I had known when I was their age. (They get two pictures because they are so special and we had a blast at camp this summer!!)

And last but not least, being a campground host fills that desire in me to serve others and hear their stories. The extrovert in me absolutely loves talking to strangers and sharing stories. (and yes! we live in our camper full time and love it!)

What is the purpose of this blog you may ask?

Well now that you know a bit about me, I want you to know that this blog is going to be mostly about photography, sharing my beautiful clients with you and the things I am learning along the way. I hope this is a place that is encouraging, helpful and inspiring!

I do not take it lightly and I am just so thankful that God has me doing this. I love meeting all of my clients and their families. You are the ones that make this dream come to life!
